Pastor Tracy Thomas is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, and the proud son of Wilford and Pamela Thomas. A product of the St. Louis Public School System, he graduated from high school in 1984 and soon after began his military service in the United States Army. During his eight years of active duty and one year in the reserves, he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant, demonstrating early leadership and commitment to service.

Following his honorable military service, Pastor Thomas returned to St. Louis in 1992 and launched a successful career in manufacturing management, which has now spanned over 30 years. He is a devoted husband to his loving wife, Deinene Thomas, and a proud father of four adult children.

Though he once walked in darkness, Pastor Thomas experienced a life-changing transformation in September 2001 when he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He publicly declared his faith through water baptism in 2003 while attending the Assembly of God Church in Windsor, Missouri. In 2010, Pastor Thomas rededicated his life to Christ and began pursuing a deeper relationship with God.

A pivotal moment in Pastor Thomas’s spiritual journey came in 2011 during a men’s conference in Dallas, Texas. There, under the spiritual covering of Dr. Hermon E. Toles, Senior Pastor of Blessed Hope Missionary Baptist Church, he discerned God’s greater call on his life. Upon returning, he began serving faithfully on the church’s usher board. In 2013, he was ordained as a deacon, but shortly after, he accepted his call into the preaching ministry. On November 11, 2013, Pastor Thomas preached his initial sermon and received his ministerial license.

On April 18, 2014, he married his beloved wife, Deinene. That same year, the couple helped plant The Body Christian Church under the leadership of Pastor David Malone, where they served faithfully as associate ministers and board members. In 2018, God led them to Chattanooga, Tennessee, where they joined Destiny Church of Chattanooga. There, Pastor Thomas served as an associate minister and men’s ministry leader. Later, they became members of St. Matthew’s Primitive Baptist Church, under the pastoral leadership of Dr. Clyde Sanderfer.

Pastor Thomas is a lifelong learner and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in May 2023, majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Biblical Studies. He is deeply committed to sound doctrine and spiritual growth. Pastor Thomas firmly believes in the triune nature of God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and holds to the assurance of eternal salvation for all who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

In October 2024, Pastor Thomas began teaching Bible study at Greater Love in Christ Ministries at the request of then-Senior Pastor Sarah Lott. Following her retirement, he was installed as Senior Pastor of Greater Love in Christ Ministries on October 5, 2025.

With a heart for teaching, a passion for discipleship, and a commitment to pastoral care, Pastor Tracy Thomas continues to lead with humility, integrity, and a steadfast devotion to advancing the Kingdom of God.
