THE HOLY SCRIPTURES
We believe the Holy Scriptures, comprising the Old and New Testaments, are a sacred collection of historical writings given as divine instructions for daily living to all who believe that Jesus Christ is the begotten son of God. In their original manuscripts, they are the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God, the Creator, revealing His truth, His will, and His unfailing promises.
2 Timothy 3:16-17; John 3:16; 2 Peter 1:16-21
THE TRINITY
We believe in the Trinity: the one true God eternally exists in three distinct Persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each Person is fully and equally God, sharing the same divine nature, equal in power, glory, and authority.
Genesis 1:26; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-4,14-7
THE FALL OF MAN
We believe that man was created in the image of God, innocent and without sin, to live in perfect fellowship with Him. However, through the temptation of Satan and man’s own disobedience, sin entered the world. As a result, all humanity inherited a sinful nature, becoming separated from God and subject to both physical and spiritual death.
Genesis 1:27, 2:17, 3:6-24; Romans 5:19
THE RESURRECTION
We believe that Jesus Christ lived on earth for thirty-three and a half years. He was crucified on the cross, died for the sins of the world, and rose again on the third day in victory over sin, death, and the grave. His resurrection guarantees eternal life for all who believe in Him. We further believe that both the righteous and the wicked will be resurrected—the righteous to everlasting life and the wicked to eternal judgment.
Isaiah 53:4-10; Matthew 20:17-19, 28:6-7; John 5:28-29, Romans 10:9
SALVATION
We believe that through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, salvation has been offered to all humanity, both Jew and Gentile. Salvation is the free gift of God, granted by His grace and received through faith, not by human merit or works. We further believe that once a person is truly saved, they are eternally secure in Christ and can never lose their salvation.
John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9; Revelation 2:7
THE RAPTURE AND THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST
We believe that at a time known only to God, there will be a great tribulation upon the earth, culminating in the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ. At His second coming, Christ will establish His millennial kingdom and reign in righteousness. We further believe that before this time of tribulation, Jesus Christ will appear and gather to Himself all believers, both living and dead, to be with Him in heaven.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; Zechariah 14:4-11; Revelation 3:10
